- Cesare Lacca Bar Cart, Italy 1950s
Bar Cart by Cesare Lacca. Italy, 1950s.
A beautiful, versatile piece of Italian design history. The lightly aged brass imparts a beautiful warmth.
Sourced in Italy. Cesare Lacca is considered the blueprint for stylish Italian bar carts.
Brass and clear glass.
Dimensions
Height approximately 67cm (including handles), 62cm (up to the top shelf)
Width approximately 68cm
Depth approximately 41cm
Condition
Very good vintage condition. The trolley presents beautifully with mild, age-appropriate patina (not erosion) to the brass.
The rubber on each wheel is quite worn; this is not very visible unless you are down on the floor looking into the castor cavity, but it means the trolley doesn’t move around.
There is a minuscule chip/scrape to the top glass pane in the corner as shown. The glass panes need a little adjusting to sit perfectly. Please refer to photos.
