B&B Italia leather 'CORONADO' armchair by Afra & Tobia Scarpa

Vintage tan leather Coronado armchair by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for B&B Italia - circa 1970s.

Incredibly comfortable armchair. Original leather upholstery with maker's label still attached.

The armchair is still made by B&B Italia and is available for purchase from retailers such as Space Furniture.

A classic evergreen first launched in 1966, the Coronado armchair is a symbol of relaxation. Offered with a high backrest, it ensures utmost comfort by means of a suspension system made from harmonic steel bands inserted into the back frame. 

Condition

Condition is commensurate with age. Evidence of use but plenty more life left - leather has softened with scuffs/marks etc but no holes, stitching appears in good order.
Minor tear to the lining in non-visible locations (under the seat cushion and to the rear of the back cushion between the two sections). Does not affect the function of the chair (refer to photos).
