Italian Mid Century Vintage Chocolate Velvet Lounge Suite + Armchair

Absolutely incredible vintage Italian lounge suite, in a dark chocolate velvet.

This suite has been painstakingly restored, while preserving the original rich crushed velvet fabric. Brand new foam cushions, support strapping, underside fabric, dust covers, feet and rubber grips. Besides a few minor imperfections, this suite presents almost as new.

Featuring oversized, chrome pressed buttons, a unique cloud like form, and ruched detail, this suite is a design triumph. Likely one of one, as finding one the same has proved impossible.

Condition

Suite is in beautiful vintage condition - presenting almost as new.
Brand new foam cushions, support strapping, dust covers, feet and rubber grips. Original upholstery presents in great condition, with a few notable historical stitch repairs, the most notable on the back of the armchair. Some small burn marks on fabric (very difficult to see).  Light rusting/pitting on chrome buttons, one chrome button has also lost a small amount of tension. While there are a few notable imperfections, overall this suite presents in fantastic condition for its age. All imperfections have been photographed as well as possible and are very difficult to notice unless you are looking for them.
