Pair of Blown-Glass Bedside Sconces, Sweden

A pair of moulded blown-glass sconces, Sweden c. 1960. These sculptural lights are substantial and of exceptional quality. They would look wonderful as bedside wall lamps, or alternatively in a reading nook or child's room. Beautiful, oversized brass finials fix each light to its metal backplate. Sourced and purchased in Sweden. 

The sconces have their original European wiring and can be used with a safety- approved plug adaptor (these cost around $13 each). Alternatively, they can be rewired with an Australian plug ($70 for both). They currently have an in-line switch for ease of use by a bedside.

Condition

Excellent vintage condition overall. A tiny abrasion to the glass on the bottom of one sconce as shown, this is very difficult to feel or see unless searching closely. Please note that blown glass can include natural variations, such as fine 'feather' patterns here and there; this is the nature of the process and adds to the handmade beauty of the piece.
