Hunter Chairs by Torbjorn Afdal, Norway, 1960s

Two hunter chairs designed by Norwegian designer Torbjørn Afdal for Bruksbo Tegnekontor. The chairs have dark brown leather cushions, canvas sling backing and a dark wooden frame. The ‘Hunter’ armchair is a gorgeous Scandinavian mid-century piece.

Condition

Great original vintage condition with some signs of age related wear. Some small signs of wear on wooden frame and the cushions have had some repair on the underside. Canvas has signs of fading at the back. Frames - No visible marks or scratches. There is some minor varnish. The canvas slings show some signs of fading and previous repair, there are no tears. The straps underneath show signs of wear. The leather has no scratches or marks and is nicely worn in and softened. There is some signs of wear and fading to the undersides of the leather cushions.
