Vintage Burmese Teak and Rattan Armchair
Beautiful colonial influence, art deco teak and rattan armchairs. Hand made in Burma, current day Myanmar sometime around the 1930's. Incredible design and craftsmanship - these chairs are steeped in history, and are truely one of a kind. Beautiful grain.

These armchairs present in beautiful original condition. There is a slight misalignment in some of the joins due to age, particularly at the tops of the backrests. The rattan has been repaired on all chairs at different times, however the rattan is not perfect and there are small areas of damage of both chairs. All chairs present with many dings and bumps from wear over the years. This does not distract from their beauty but adds to their character. Any and all imperfections in no way affect the structural integrity of the chairs, they are very solid, and can be used as they are.
